I ask God to make it possible for me to visit you. (Romans 1:10)
Relationships are built over time. Relationships are built on investments of quality time, intentional contact, and shared memories.
To strengthen deep emotional bonds, it’s important to make time for one another, make an effort to connect with others and share meaningful experiences together. Loving, caring, and thoughtful actions hold relationships together.
Paul had many friends, co-workers, and apprentices. Work and constant travel kept Paul busy and away from his friends. However, Paul kept the friendship alive through letters.
Relationships are built on investments of quality time, intentional contact, and shared memories.
But, Paul wasn’t content with letters or prayers. He wanted to meet in person. He longed to visit them. But, it was easier than said. Paul longed to meet with his friends face-to-face. Here, Paul makes it a prayer to God.
What can we do to keep the friendships going? Given today’s busy schedule, social media could be the best answer. Sometimes, a simple text message is all that’s needed. What if we try and make a personal visit? Love always figures out a way. We could also pray hard to God, asking him to hear our prayers and make this happen.
